About the role
Academic Work is currently looking for an IT Security Consultant on behalf of our client, Bavarian Nordic, for their office in Hellerup. As an IT Security Consultant you will become part of a small but dedicated security team in their IT department. Your role in the team will however be very independent. You will amongst other things be responsible of implementing EU's new NIS2 Directive by e.g. ensuring the use of correct tools, running dialogues, and creating and taking the necessary steps in the process. Hands-on experience with change and developmental projects is therefore a must, since you must be able to independently run these processes. There will be some travel included, as there will be two workplaces in this role - one at the head office in Hellerup and one at the laboratory in Kvistgaard. You will spend most of your time in Hellerup, however.
As the environment is dynamic and always changing according to the urgency of different tasks, you must be a structured person in order to meet the deadlines. This is a one-year project employment with the objective to hire you permanently at Bavarian Nordic afterwards.

We are looking for
- You have relevant education from for example DTU, ITU etc.
- You have hands-on experience with Microsoft Security, such as Defender.
- You are experienced with implementing change.
- You have strong English skills.
- You have a driver's license and access to a car, due to travels between Hellerup and Kvistgaard.
It is meritorious if you have
- strong Danish skills.
