Rygaards International School invites enthusiastic, dedicated teachers to apply for a maternity cover teaching Science and Biology in our International Department.

You
- You are a teacher of Science and Biology.
- You are dedicated to teaching Secondary School students.
- You contribute with well-structured lessons, a positive mindset, and determination to make a difference in the students’ lives and education.
- You reflect upon your own practice, and are happy to co-operate closely with your colleagues.
- You make an effort – as our school motto say: Semper Ardens – Always Burning.
- Preferably, you have knowledge of the Cambridge Curriculum and IGSCE Exams.
The position
- As our new teacher of Science and Biology, you will have 28 lessons per week in total. These will be divided as follows:
- 16 lessons: Teaching Science to students in Years 8 and 9.
- 12 lessons: Teaching IGCSE Biology to students Years 10 and 11.
- This is a temporary position, starting on March 1, 2024, and ending around January 31, 2025.
Rygaards School
Rygaards is a Catholic school, founded in 1909 by the Assumption sisters. The school has strong ecumenical traditions and values, and we welcome students, families, and employees of all cultures, religions, and backgrounds. Rygaards School has a Danish and an International English-speaking department, each teaching its own separate curriculum. Rygaards International School consists of Key Stages 1–4 (Years 1–11).
